Tanner Webster entered the real estate realm immediately following a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Utah. He quickly recognized his passion wasn’t brokering deals and flipping houses. He enjoyed the segments of development and investment management significantly more than transactional business. However, during his time as a broker, he managed the acquisition and disposition of a variety of assets – from self-storage facilities, apartment communities, sprawling suburban subdivisions, and industrial complexes totaling over $50M. These experiences gave Tanner a full understanding of the real estate market’s complexities.
Along the way, he knew I needed to develop his own track record of going ‘full cycle’ on deals, so he began flipping houses and became very familiar with construction management and financial modeling. Although renovating homes was a great experience, Tanner decided to move away from the high risk, and even higher leverage properties into more long term natured projects.
